LESS FLEX, MORE LIFT.
The XCT45U runs a five-section U-shaped boom. That cross-section isn't cosmetic — it resists deflection under load, so placement stays precise at full extension where other booms start to wander. At 142 ft, that structural advantage matters.
Dual variable displacement pumps put that reach to work. Smoother, more responsive control than a single-pump system on every function — swing, lift, extension. Higher hydraulic efficiency means less heat buildup across a full day, and consistent performance from the first pick to the last.
Four configurations let the XCT45U operate legally across markets with different weight regulations. Rear tandem axle weights step down from 20,477 lb to as low as 18,345 lb per axle — staying under per-axle limits in restricted states without buying a different crane. Strip the jib, reduce counterweight, or both. One crane, configured for the market you're in.

Cranes and Hoisting
XCT35U
The XCT35U runs a four-section U-shaped boom at 120 ft of reach. That cross-section resists deflection under load, keeping placement precise at full extension where other booms start to wander. Built for the job, not just the spec sheet. Dual variable displacement pumps deliver smoother, more responsive control across every function: swing, lift, extension. Higher hydraulic efficiency means less heat buildup through a long day and consistent performance from the first pick to the last. The operator cab tilts 0 to 20 degrees for wider sightlines and a purpose-built workspace, with a 7-inch touchscreen putting machine intelligence at the operator’s fingertips. XCMG boom trucks are available with wireless remote controls for the outriggers and boom, letting one operator set up and run solo without a spotter, with backup controls mounted on the crane when you need them.

XCT40U
The XCT40U runs a five-section U-shaped boom at 142 ft of reach. The XCT40U, XCT45U, and XCT60U feature independent proportional boom section control. Each section extends to the exact percentage needed for the lift rather than moving all sections together. The onboard LMI recommends the optimal boom configuration to maximize lifting capacity before you make a move, so every pick gets the most out of the crane. XCT60U
The XCT60U runs a five-section U-shaped boom at 154 ft, the longest in the 60-ton class. That cross-section resists deflection under load, keeping placement precise at full extension where other booms start to wander. When reach is the job, nothing in its class goes further. An optional fixed jib extends that reach to 207.5 ft with offset angles of 0, 15, and 30 degrees. The same jib is available across the full XCMG boom truck lineup, so operators moving between machines already know the setup. Hook block options cover 15, 40, and 60 USt to match the rigging to the lift. An optional auxiliary winch, outrigger wireless remote, and superstructure wireless remote for luffing and winch control round out the configuration. An optional camera at the boom head puts eyes where they need to be. For the full XCMG boom truck portfolio including options, visit xcmgusa.com/boom-trucks.
