The XCA275U runs the longest boom in the 275-ton class in North America — a seven-section boom to 239.5 ft that outreaches every competitor in the market, with heavy- or light-duty fixed jibs adding reach at 0°, 20°, and 40° offsets. More reach means more jobs you can say yes to.
A single Mercedes-Benz OM471LA diesel — 523 hp and 1,917 lb-ft of torque — powers the whole crane, hydraulically driving the superstructure, so there's one engine to service and maintain instead of two. All-axle steering switches seamlessly between three- and four-axle drive, with 60% grade-climbing capability and a 12-speed ZF automatic,so a 275-ton machine still gets into and out of tight sites.
Automatic luffing and hook-height compensation hold the load where the operator sets it, real-time axle-load monitoring selects the safe gear automatically, and the cab brings an air-suspension seat, twin 12-inch displays, LMI, and boom-head and winch cameras within reach.
